Hi, I’m Glenn Tomlin and I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born in Merstham and I’ve been living in Horley for the past 15 years.

For many years I worked in the motor industry but in the end I realised that it was not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and I just wasn’t enjoying it any more. It was an office job and going to the same office day after day was starting to drive me mad.

I needed a change and after I got up the courage, I quit my job and started working with a local builder. That is where I realised that I was pretty good with electrics and Chris, the owner of this local building company noticed this too. I was lucky that Chris was generous enough to show me everything he knew about electrics and pretty soon I was doing all the electrical work myself.

Now I have my own company, Wisdom Electrical and I get to travel all over the place doing electrical work and get to meet lots of different people. I really enjoy what I do now and the best part is the ‘buzz’ I get when I see happy customers.
